How Cousin marriage is dangerous?

Marriage between first cousins double the risk of children being born with birth defects. Birth defects babies having disorder mainly in their Heart and Nervous system. 

Marriage between first cousins having risk of transfer of recessive disease gene in their children. The recessive gene is not dominant in parents but having 50% tendency to cause disease. But in child the tendency of recessive gene becomes 100%, it becomes dominant and the baby having birth defect.

The diagram clearly shows that how First cousins marriage are dangerous and increase the risk of birth defect. Male Grandparent had recessive gene which  transferred to 2 sons and it transferred to next generation as a recessive. But later on it became dominant and caused disease It also increase the risk of abnormalities in babies.
Marriage between second cousins are allowed in United state, but first cousins marriage is legal only in half of American states. So, avoid first cousin marriage to stop the birth death.
